3DP Printing of Oral Solid Formulations: A Systematic Review
نویسندگان
چکیده
Three-dimensional (3D) printing is a recent technology, which gives the possibility to manufacture personalised dosage forms and it has broad range of applications. One most developed, oral solid four 3DP techniques have been more used for their are FDM, inkjet 3DP, SLA SLS. This systematic review carried out statistically analyze current employed in manufacturing formulations assess trends this new technology. The work organised into steps, (1) screening articles, definition inclusion exclusion criteria classification articles two main groups (included/excluded); (2) quantification characterisation included articles; (3) evaluation validity data extraction process; (4) analysis, discussion, conclusion define technique offers best properties be applied formulations. It observed that with SLS technique, all tests required by BP (drug content, drug dissolution profile, hardness, friability, disintegration time uniformity weight) performed majority except friability test. However, not possible suitable formulations, because selection affected different parameters, such as type formulation, physical-mechanical achieve. Moreover, each its specific advantages disadvantages, FDM biggest challenge degradation drug, due high temperature process or toxicity carcinogenic risk photopolymerising material.

Oral Schwannoma: A Systematic Review of the Case Reports
Schwannomas are benign neoplasms with unknown etiology, which apparently arise from neural sheath Schwann cells. Intraoral schwannomas are solitary, slow-growing lesions occurring at different ages; these lesions are normally asymptomatic and in some cases, they are accompanied by pain and paresthesia if spotted in the intraosseous regions of the mandibles. Definitive diagnosis of schwannoma i...
متن کاملMedicines for children: flexible solid oral formulations
Perspectives Children younger than five years old are generally unable to safely swallow solid capsules and tablets larger than 10 mm. 1 Although oral liquid medicines can be prescribed, these have some disadvantages over solid medicines. Substances or excipients that solubilize the active ingredient or ensure microbial stability are included in oral liquids and these may be harmful to young ch...

متن کاملClinical trials of improved oral rehydration salt formulations: a review.
Reviewed are all the published clinical trials of glycine-based oral rehydration salts (ORS), L-alanine-based ORS, L-glutamine-based ORS, maltodextrin-based ORS, and rice-based ORS, as well as the results of several recently completed, but unpublished, studies of these formulations that were supported by WHO. All experimental ORS formulations contained the same concentrations of salts as citrat...
